This week’s photo challenge was much a challenge for me. I scoured through literally thousands of travel photos all in the hopes of seeking a perfectly textured photo.
This was my pick. In 2007, I was able to travel to Ephesus, Turkey where one of the tours included a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary where it is to believed to be the last residence of the Virgin Mary. The site brings forward tourists and religious pilgrims alike.
After walking through the site, visitors are greeted with a prayer wall which consisted of notes and prayers sent up to the Virgin Mary. The different colors and lengths of paper, a incredible texture is created making this an excellent choice for this week’s theme of texture.
