“John” e-mailed me Friday morning asking what my plans looked like for this weekend. I suggested Sunday afternoon/evening as a time for us to get together for another date. He agreed, and I decided to take the reign of planning this outing for us. Although I suggested that I would plan the date I needed ideas from co-workers and friends!

Two suggestions were the best options: 1) A baseball game (minor league) 2) Swing Night at a local winery. Considering that “John” is a former musician and I love a good wine tasting, I decided to suggest the winery. It is something that both of us have never done which will be fun as well as a good “bonding” experience. (Again, another recommendation from my dating books.) I am organizing food including a borrowed picnic basket from a friendly co-worker. The stage is set for a great third date. The only thing that could put a damper on this date is the weather.  As of right now there is a good chance we will be seeing some thunderstorms Sunday afternoon/evening.   But, I think we can cross that bridge when (if) we get there.

Things are moving along well….and I am finding myself looking forward to seeing him tomorrow which is always a good sign, right?
